I recently (April 24th) gave a 25 minute introduction to forensic data science at the BrumAI meetup at Aston University, Birmingham, UK

It was very well received and is available on YouTube.

The talk introduces forensic data science, gives a brief overview of the E3FS3 forensic voice comparison system under development at the Forensic Data Science Laboratory at Aston, and reports on recent work comparing forensic voice comparison by humans with by the E3FS3 system (based on the state of the art in automatic speaker recognition).
